Like many industries, the publishing industry is attempting to tackle its lack of diversity and issues of racism. While Black people are still underrepresented and underserved by the publishing industry and there is still much work to be done, there are many wonderful existing books written by and about Black people, and it’s key that we celebrate these titles and support their authors.
